Puppy dog eyes. That "look".---We have all seen them and felt them....Dog guilt trips. I mean really, It's bad enough when we have to leave for work and they lay it on thick, but how about when we get out the suitcases?! Oh yeah. GUILT! I'm talking about a different 'trip', tho. VACATION!!! Oh yeah! We all love vacations and that is a very common question I get- 'How can we feed raw while traveling?'.

Traveling with your dogs and feeding raw may seem like an intimidating task but it's not at all. If there is not a fridge available at our destination I bring a small cooler. I pack it with the food they need to get there and then I just get them more as needed once I'm there. Really, no big deal.

Now for those of you who travel and kennel your dogs or get a 'dog sitter' while you are gone, that is simple as well. You'd be surprised, If you call around, most kennels will follow your feeding instructions if you provide a cooler of your dog's food. The same as if you kenneled a dog who needed any other special feeding instructions followed. As for a dog sitter- write down feeding instructions and keep them handy for whenever you are leaving. It's really and truly one of those things that you will be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner.
