Commercial dog food....Seriously, the smell alone is enough to gag a maggot! It's also really nasty that the poor animals fed these pellets start to take on that stench. Far more importantly, tho, are all of the other factors contributing to the deterioration of our dogs' health. Disgustingly enough, these factors are the same ones causing the nasty smell and ill effects. Are you ready for this???

Rendering plant. This is the manufacturing plant. Thousands of feet and heads; whole dead carcasses ranging from dogs to cattle to skunks and roadkill. Heaps of "product" gets dumped into machines for processing.

Rendering, by definition, is " to melt down <render suet>; also : to extract by melting". Yuck.

Once this process is completed they have to sift thru removing excessive hair. Ever break a dog biscuit in half and count the hairs? Those must have been under the "excessive" level?! Disgusting.

To identify these ingredients you will find them listed as: "by-product meal"(poultry/meat); animal fat; fish meal.

Many, many toxic materials are incorporated into this concoction. These toxins include pesticides(IE: livestock;flea and tick treatments); mercury(fish); many drugs given to the animals (antibiotics, steroids, and meds used to euthanize the animals); metals and plastics(flea and tick collars; regular collars;surgical pins;ID tags).

This "product" is then mixed with grain. Grain alone is completely biologically inappropriate for dogs but at this point do you really believe they are seeking out the finest grains, anyway? Nope. Old cereals and waste swept up from grain processing plants. Nothing but the best, huh?! NOT!

One last thing to consider(for now)-- All of these toxins are processed thru our dogs' vital organs. One of the top causes of death for dogs of all ages is liver failure. Go freaking figure?!
